The Amazon-owned Twitch Prime is offering members free in-game rewards for Overwatch. As part of a new partnership, Twitch Prime members can claim two Wrecking Ball Loot Boxes in the popular multiplayer game.

For those unfamiliar, Twitch Prime is a subscription-based program for the Amazon-owned video streaming service which specializes in video games. A Twitch Prime membership is already included in your Amazon Prime subscription, or can be purchased on a monthly basis for $12.99 per month. Twitch Prime members can receive free games and free in-game loot, like these Overwatch boxes, every month.

Once you link your Blizzard account to your Twitch Prime account you can claim two Wrecking Ball Loot Boxes, which contain four random items for the newly released hero. Once claimed and redeemed, these Overwatch items are yours to keep forever - even if your Twitch Prime subscription ends.

Released on the live servers yesterday, Wrecking Ball is the 28th hero in Overwatch and a tank character with increased speed and mobility. You can read more about him here.

The current Wrecking Ball promotion is available until September 3. Looking a bit further ahead, Twitch Prime members will be able to claim a Golden Loot Box in September as well as another Golden Loot Box in October.
