Each and every month, Sony PlayStation gives away at least two games for free. For instance, Farming Simulator 19 and Cities: Skylines are available for free this month. However, next month will bring a new pair of free games that will replace those. In fact, one of June's free PlayStation Plus games is already available.
Call of Duty: WWII is an installment in the long-running Call of Duty first-person shooter series. This particular entry was developed by Sledgehammer Games and released back in 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is set during the second world war; there's a singleplayer campaign mode, online multiplayer mode, and a Zombies mode.
It's this Call of Duty game that is now available for free to those who are subscribed to PlayStation Plus. Meaning it's available to download and will be until July wherein it will be replaced — just as it has replaced Farming Simulator 19 and Cities: Skylines. This was recently officially announced by PlayStation on Twitter — as you can see below (via @PlayStation):
As mentioned above, Call of Duty WWII won't be the only game avalible for free to Playstation Plus subscribers next month. As for what the other game will be, it is yet to be reaviled. However it will likley be offically reviled with in the coming days, and we will be sure to cover it, so stay tuned to Gamefragger.
Call of Duty: WWII is the fourteenth game in the Call of Duty franchise and Sledgehammer Games' second to be developed in a three-year development cycle. Set during World War II, it tells the story of an unbreakable brotherhood of common men fighting to preserve freedom in a world on the brink of tyranny.
Call of Duty: WWII is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
