As a reminder, this weekend's beta is open to all PC players as long as you have a Battle.net account. The open beta begins on August 11 at 10:00 a.m. PT; however, if you have pre-purchased Black Ops 4 on PC you can get a full day of Early Access beginning on August 10 at 10:00 a.m. PT.
Similar to this past weekend's beta on PlayStation 4, you will get a taste of various elements of Black Ops 4's multiplayer, including six modes: Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, and Control. These modes will be held across six maps, two of which are new (Gridlock and Hacienda).
"Participating in the beta helps our development teams here at Treyarch, at Beenox, and at Blizzard gather data that is used to fine-tune the PC experience. Your feedback is not only welcome, but also a key element in ensuring that we collectively deliver the best PC experience possible," Treyarch said.
The developer added: "This PC Open Beta is important to the development teams who will be jumping into matches throughout the course of the Beta period. We have been waiting anxiously to get the game in to so many hands and are eager to hear the feedback. In fact, at the conclusion of the multiplayer PC Beta a survey will be emailed to a group of participants. We encourage you to respond honestly with your experiences. But if you just want to play, that’s cool too!"
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will launch October 12 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Another beta will be held in September, specifically dedicated to the game's new battle royale mode, Blackout. More details on that will be shared in the coming weeks.
