Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's second season of post-launch content only kicked off the other day —
find out more about that here. Earlier today, heaps of evidence emerged suggesting that a new
Call of Duty battle royale is about to rear its head.
A leaked image surfaced online and kicked it all off — featuring the name
"Call of Duty: Warzone" — and a reputable insider suggested that it's coming very soon —
more on that here. Well, now it seems all but confirmed that
Call of Duty: Warzone is legitimate and on the way as evidence has been discovered within
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare itself.
The newest update to the latest instalment in the long-running first-person shooter franchise has introduced a new option to the main menu. As well as Campaign, Multiplayer, Co-Op, and Store; there's now a section that simply says
"Classified," and it's located rather prominently.
If that isn't enough for you; since the latest update, multiple players have found themselves accidentally placed into a menu which is very clearly meant for the battle royale mode — it even says
"Warzone," at the top of the screen. However, the options are all locked — one of them being a Training Mode.
