Save Me Mr. Tako! is a 2D platformer developed by Christophe Galati and published by Nicalis coming for the Nintendo Switch and Steam on the
30th of October.
The game's art style mimics that of the one seen in the early days of the Game Boy Colour, which is what inspired the developer to make this game. Galati first showcased
Save Me Mr. Tako! in 2016 during the Tokyo Game Show, which is where Nicalis first noticed him and signed him in to work on a Nintendo Switch version of the game.
In
Save Me Mr. Tako!, players will take the role of Mr. Tako, who has to help resolve an ongoing conflict between octopuses and humans. In order to do this, Mr. Tako will be able to shoot out ink projectiles to defend against enemies, as well as wearing a plethora of hats that can change his abilities.
