Nintendo just streamed their Indie World presentation, where they would be showcasing some new video games developed by independent studios — and they had quite a bunch of titles for players to get excited about.
While the presentation was solid, it wrapped up with what's arguably the best announcement they could've made:
Ori and the Blind Forest is making it's way to the Nintendo Switch, and will be releasing on the
27th of September.
Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition, for the Nintendo Switch, will be including some new features not present in the original version, and will have players exploring an emotional story about love and sacrifice.
What's even more interesting is that this title releasing on the Nintendo Switch is further prove that the relationship with Microsoft and Nintendo is going very strong, so Nintendo fans should expect more surprise reveals like this one in the future.
Check it out:
The forest of Nibel is dying. After a powerful storm sets a series of devastating events in motion, Ori must journey to find courage and confront a dark nemesis to save the forest of Nibel. Winner of several prestigious awards, “Ori and the Blind Forest” tells the tale of a young orphan destined for heroics through a visually stunning Action-Platformer crafted by Moon Studios.
Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition will release for the Nintendo Switch on the 27th of September.
