Developer Beenox has recently announced released a new update for
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, which adds a bunch of Halloween-themed content that players can earn by participating in this month's Grand Prix event; from new characters to a brand-new track for players to test their skill on.
We also found out that the developer had added a new Drift driving style, and is now allowing players to fully customise their drivers, which is welcomed news for fans who want to play as their favourite character but couldn't because it may not have been too beginner-friendly.
What Beenox also revealed was that they had finally added skill-based online matchmaking to
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, which is great news since fans have been requesting this feature to be added pretty much since the game was released.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, much like the original PlayStation 1 title, have some controls that aren't easy to grasp, and matchmaking online used to pair high-skilled racers with beginners — which obviously made things difficult and frustrating for those who just began playing the game.
It may have taken a while, but it's great to see that Beenox finally added something to help new players.
