Electronic Arts is once again hosting its own event prior to E3. The event, dubbed EA Play, will serve as a sort of community event where gamers can connect and interact with their favorite content creators and developers. The annual three-day event will take place at Hollywood Plladium from June 9 through June 11 and will feature some of EA's 2018 blockbusters - including the new
Battlefield.
EA officially
outed this year's Battlefield during its earnings call back in November 2017. Little details were offered, but company CFO Blake Jorgensen teased it to be "visually stunning" and "deeply immersive," which sounds on par with the other
Battlefield installments.
In addition to the new
Battlefield, EA Play 2018 will feature the newest EA Sports titles, various
Sims games, and an "inside look" at
Anthem. The BioWare-developed shooter was
recently delayed from this year to early 2019.
Tickets are free for the public and will be made available this Spring. Details for how to acquire a ticket to EA Play 2018 will be shared in the coming weeks and months.
