Code Vein, Hiroshi Yoshimura's new project, will feature an AI partner to help you deal with the difficult opponents and monsters you may encounter during your playthrough, but you can also "hire" a real person to do the job. With Code Vein releasing right around the corner, Namco's series of character introduction videos released to get us acquainted with the game's main characters is coming to an end.
The first trailer introduced us to Mia Karnstein, a female Revenant wandering in the land called “Vein," accompanied by her younger brother, the only family she has left, whom she will do anything to protect, while the second trailer was focused entirely on Yakumo Shinonome, a former mercenary who remembers his lost brethren and can rip enemies apart with his enormous Hounds blood veil.
The third, and possibly, last
Code Vein character trailer showcases Louis, another buddy character that you can bring together to explore the post-apocalyptic universe. Despite his young age, he is one of the Revenant leaders and looking for Blood Beads, a substitute for human blood, a way to help Revenants that are suffering from bloodlust. As a partner, Louis keeps a moderate distance from enemies, and uses good balance of weapons and Gifts.
Code Vein is already available to pre-order on Amazon for those who don’t want to miss out on getting their copy first, available for both PS4 and Xbox One.
In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood.
Code Vein will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 28, 2018.
