Two months ago, the official Electronic Entertainment Expo website confirmed that the creators of
The Witcher trilogy and
GWENT: The Witcher Card Game will attend E3 2018 showcasing a "
Role-Playing" product. Despite many rumors about the troubled production of
Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red seems to be finally ready to talk about their forthcoming action-RPG that was first teased in 2013.
Now, ahead of E3 2018 that will officially start this Sunday, CD Projekt has officially filed a trademark for
Cyberpunk 2077 through the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The trademark is currently under examination, and it could mean that studio CD Projekt RED has big plans for E3 2018 as CDP is apparently booking hour-long appointments with press outlets at E3 for an unspecified title.
Just last month, Everyeye.it editor Francesco Fossetti announced that he will be attending an hour-long presentation hosted by CD Projekt Red at E3 2018 and it won't be anything new for the Polish developer, as their
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was announced in a similar fashion. Considering that
The Witcher 3 appeared at Microsoft's E3 press conferences in both E3 2013 and E3 2014, don't be surprised if The Big M teams up with CD Projekt RED for yet another reveal at E3 2018. Microsoft’s E3 press conference is slated to take place this Sunday at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM BST.
