Developer CD Projekt Red has officially confirmed that their
Cyberpunk 2077 will be showcased at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles. Considering that the RPG's first gameplay trailer (that aired at the very end of Microsoft’s media briefing) was one of the biggest (if not the biggest) highlight of the entire event, it's definitely good to know that CDP Red won't skip the upcoming expo.
Back in June, when the first jaw-dropping gameplay trailer for the open-world title was released online, CD Projekt CEO Adam Kiciński confirmed that
Cyberpunk 2077 was being made by more than 350 developers, but the team that is currently working on
Cyberpunk 2077 already has over 400 people.
Although Sony won't be attending this year's E3, Microsoft, Nintendo of America, Activision, Bethesda Softworks, Capcom, Epic Games, Konami Digital Entertainment, Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive Software, Ubisoft, and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have already confirmed their presence during E3 2019, that will be held June 11-13 in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a narrative-driven, open world RPG set in the most vibrant and dangerous metropolis of the future — Night City. You play as V, a hired gun on the rise, who just got their first serious contract. In a world of cyberenhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners and corporate life-hackers, today is your first step to becoming an urban legend. Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the same universe as Mike Pondsmith's classic pen & paper RPG system, Cyberpunk 2020.
Cyberpunk 2077's release date has not been officially revealed yet.
