The mysterious transmission that CD Projekt RED initiated this morning concluded in the presentation of the first gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077, its awaited first-person RPG. In it we can learn more about the game systems and their characteristics.

The action of Cyberpunk 2077 takes place in Night City, a city near the North Carolina coast. CD Projekt RED is striving to create an open world where you can move without interruptions like load screens. Also, the goal is to feel like a living place with a cycle of day and night and several inhabitants with a normal life. They want to present several interactive elements, such as advertisements that will tell you where to go to buy a product.

The video also shows us that Cyberpunk 2077 will have a system of dialogue options. From what we see we will have the option of deciding how we want to respond to our colleagues and if we want to accept or reject missions. Something important is that there will be members of some factions that will have lie detectors, so it will not always be possible to deceive them.

Also, we can see that there will be several add-ons that we can acquire to improve our character. These are implants that will serve to have skills such as a biometric scanner to zoom in on some elements of the map. Keep in mind that several of the businesses that make these kinds of improvements are legal. However, there are also many who operate as part of the black market and who are willing to implant military equipment.

The combat will present futuristic gunshots, but it will also present some melee fighting tools. That said, we'll also have the option to stealthily approach enemies to penetrate their neural system to obtain information or disable some of their characteristics.

The video also shows us a bit of the driving system. In the video we see V driving a car in first-person, but apparently there will also be the option to switch to a third-person camera. Also, CD Projekt RED assured that it will present other types of vehicles.

Before we show you the video, this is a work in progress and does not represent the final aspect of the game. So, you can expect several changes once you put your hands on Cyberpunk 2077.

In Cyberpunk 2077, the player will be thrown into a dark future. The metropolis of Night City is a stage set to tell the tale of one individual, raised on the streets, who tries to lift himself up from the gutter and find a way to survive amongst boostergangs and megacorporations in a city of filth and sin. Drugs, violence, poverty and exclusion haven’t disappeared by 2077, as people stayed they were for centuries – greedy, closed-minded and weak. But not only ghosts of the past trouble mankind, but new issues have appeared. Psychos go on rampages and the streets are filled with junkies addicted to a new form of entertainment – the braindance, a cheap way to experience the emotions and stimuli of someone else, someone living a more exciting life.

Cyberpunk 2077 does not have a release date but will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
