The first chapter of Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition will launch on iOS February 9th, according to a listing on the App Store.
The port acts as a remake of Final Fantasy XV, recreating the gameplay mechanics and battles for mobile while also remaining faithful to the original game's story and characters. The game also goes for a chibi art style which gives it a bit of extra charm. There is no word about a release date for android but players will be able to pre-register their interest to find out when the game arrives.
All ten chapters of Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition will cost $20, but the first instalment will be totally free. The following two chapters will cost $0.99 each, while chapters 4 through 10 will cost $3.99 each. There is no official release date from Square Enix but hopefully, we get official confirmation over the next few days.
