Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 was definitely the pleasant surprise that fans of the long-neglected Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series were waiting for. This year, actually, has been great for skatboarding games in general, with Skater XL releasing next month, and Skate 4 having recently been announced.
Much like the name very appropriately suggests, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is including the first two titles in the long-running series, with pretty much most of the songs in its iconic soundtrack, and is also remastering them in order to give players the ultimate skateboarding experience
Today Activision and developer Vicarious Visions have revealed that a bunch of new skaters will also be added to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 for players to play as. The new skaters added to the game are Leticia Bufoni, Lizzie Armanto, Riley Hawk, Nyjah Houston, Tyshawn Jones, Leo Baker, Shane O'Neill, and Aori Nishimura.
This also confirms that Tony Hawk;s Pro Skater 1 + 2 was the game that Lizzie Armanto mentioned back in November of last year, and that there isn't another Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game in development — which is something that some fans of the series thought when she wasn't revealed to be in this game; that is, until today.
Additionally, Activision has also revealed that players who pre-order a digital copye of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will be given access to the Warehouse Demo that will become available on the 14th of August, which is exactly three weeks before the game finally becomes available worldwide.
