New Legendary Pokémon Meltan's evolution for Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu/Eevee! has just been revealed, and it looks like it will be quite the powerhouse companion.

About a month ago, the official Pokémon YouTube channel shared a new video that had Professors Oak and Willow talking about a new Ditto-like Pokémon that had not been discovered yet.

As it turns out, this new Pokémon wasn't a transformed Ditto, but a Mythical Pokémon named Meltan, instead.This new Pokémon will be available for both Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee!, but we didn't know what type of Pokémon this Meltan would be.

Well, today we have some more information about this new Mythical Pokémon—and Meltan is the very first Mythical Pokémon known to evolve. The new evolution in question is called Melmetal, and it is a Steel type that can sure lay out a few other Pokémon in battles.

Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee! will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 16th of November.
