WarioWare Gold is a game in which players have to play some 5 to 10 second microgames in succession in order to score points and win. These microgames are quite weird, but that's where the charm of the game comes from—well, besides how creative these microgames are.
A couple of days ago,
WarioWare Gold was released in Europe and
Nintendo released a short trailer giving us a small glimpse of what the game has to offer. Today, Nintendo has released yet another trailer ahead of
WarioWare Gold's US release—which is scheduled to hit shelves on the 3rd of August.
The new trailer for
WarioWare Gold shows off some of the microgames that players can find within the game, which are more than likely to put a smile on their faces. Some of these microgames will have players playing with the Nintendo 3DS' gyro controls in order to fence a pig from escaping an area surrounded by trees or removing band-aids, whatever the developers came up with. Thanks to the 3DS' touchscreen, players can also interact with the game by using their stylus in all kinds of crazy ways.
Players will also be able to unlock Challenge Mode with varying levels of difficulty, or by having all levels of difficulty mixed up in one big challenge that will test their skills. If two players have the game on their Nintendo 3DS, they can battle it out in co-op Battle Time.
WarioWare Gold will also allow players to redeem some very awesome prizes like Character Cards, Nintendo Collection, and even Studio Session where players will be able to re-dub some hilarious in-game cutscenes.
