Since the launch of Switch more than a year ago, Nintendo made clear its great commitment to independent titles, which have adapted greatly to the portability of the hybrid console. In addition to opening its platform for the arrival of the best titles of the independent scene, Nintendo will give them greater diffusion through a dedicated news channel.

During the presentation of the Nindies Showcase today, the Japanese company revealed that a news channel on the independent scene would be available as soon as the transmission ended. It was then when the user interface of the hybrid console showed the Indies News Channel, which has been designed to give greater reach to the titles that make up the indie catalog of Switch.

The intention of Nintendo with this channel is not only to give greater visibility to this type of titles, it also seeks to be a means of liaison between fans of indie games and developers, hence there will soon be questions and answers, interviews and various surprises for users.

The Indies News Channel is now available on Switch for users that want to subscribe and stay here to find out what happens with the independent scene that has been consolidated in the hybrid platform.
