During last night's Nintendo Switch presentation, it was confirmed that the console will be released worldwide on March 3rd for $299.99 USD/$399.99 CAD. That's not cheap, but the company revealed enough information to possibly confirm that it will be worth emptying your savings account for!
Along with the dock and device itself, the box will include a left and right Joy-Con controller, two Joy-Con wrist straps, the Joy-Con grip, an HDMI cable and AC adapter. There will actually be two options available at launch (both for the same price) with one including two grey Joy-Con controllers and the other offering up one Neon Blue and one Neon Red Joy-Con. It all come down to what you prefer.
It was also confirmed during the event that the Switch is going to be region-free, a first for Nintendo.
