Alexander Brandon, the composer behind Deus Ex, recently announced that he has moved to Retro Studios to work on their secret new game... It is no secret that he is a massive Metroid fan, so its easy to understand the chatter across the internet speculating the arrival of a new Metroid…

All we can do is question; is he the composer for the new Metroid? Is it a new installment in the Metroid Prime series, or a return to mainline Metroid games that picks up from where Metroid Fusion left off? No one really knows right now and will not know until the game is presumably revealed at E3 next month.
