Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia is the product of a team up between Nintendo and Dark Horse Publishing. This isn't the first time these two companies have joined forces, since in recent years Dark Horse has been publishing
The Legend of Zelda books such as
Hyrule Historia.
With a rich history in over 30 years, Nintendo's
Super Mario Bros. franchise has been a household name a bunch of generations, and the
Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia covers the first 30 years of the beloved plumber brothers and their adventures in the Mushroom Kingdom.
The
Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia features tonnes of content that go from character origins, their respective biographies, games in the main line series, spin-off titles like
Yoshi's Cookie and
Luigi's Mansion, full lists of the iconic power-ups, interviews with the producers and creators, and more.
Now, Dark Horse has posted a new trailer for the
Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia as the book has just become available today. This encyclopedia will also come in
Standard and
Limited editions. The
Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia Limited Edition version covers are different, each with a unique classic power-up from the Mario series : 1-Up, Super Mushroom, Power Star, and Fire Flower.
