Just a couple of days ago, we reported that a listing on Amazon UK revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword — originally released for the Nintendo Wii in November of 2011 — was making its way into the Nintendo Switch in the form of an HD remaster.
Amazon UK was quick to remove the game from their website, but this did manage to get fans of Nintendo's The legend of Zelda series excited by the prospect of an HD remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword launching on the Nintendo Switch.
If Nintendo was to release an HD remaster, or even a remake of an old The Legend of Zelda game, now would be the perfect time, since they have already announced that a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is currently in development, but we haven't heard anything since the game's announcement during last year's E3.
Piggybacking off the news that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword would probably be getting an HD remaster on the Nintendo Switch, a new listing seems to add fuel to the rumour; making the possibility of this alleged remaster even more plausible.
As reported by GamesRadar+, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for the Nintendo Switch has shown up on a listing from Instant Gaming, which is a website that resells video game CD Keys. In fact, and as of this writing, the game is still listed on the website.
Furthermore, according to listing, this HD remaster is revealed to be scheduled for release in 2021 — which is likely a placeholder, since Nintendo hasn't really mde any official announcements just yet.
Rumours have also claimed that a Nintendo Direct presentation will be livestreamed on Friday the 28th of August, and that would be the perfect time for Nintendo to officially announce this rumoured The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD remaster; then again, these are all rumours, so we should take them with a pinch of salt.
