We may have some fantastic news for fans of Goichi Suda's
No More Heroes series, as the creator himself has recently teased that re-releases of the original titles may soon be making their way into the PlayStation 4; and perhaps other consoles, too.
During a recent interview with
Dengeki PlayStation, Goichi Suda was asked if there were any plans to re-release previous titles of the No More Heroes series on the PlayStation 4 — keeping in mind that the last title in the series to release for a PlayStation console launched in 2010.
"
Yes. We’re currently in talks with Marvelous to make that happen. It’s in positive consideration, so I hope we’ll be able to make a good announcement," replied Suda while also reminding players that the PlayStation 4 version of
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is "
the Complete Edition with all the downloadable content included," and that there "
will also be original collaboration t-shirts exclusive to the PlayStation 4 version, so be sure to play it!"
No More Heroes III was just announced during this year's E3 and, although it is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, chances are that it will also end up getting a PlayStation 4 release at some point — especially when considering that
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes was a Switch exclusive for a while and now is getting a PlayStation 4 release, as well.
Fans have been asking for a new
No More Heroes title for quite a while now, and with the
No More Heroes III announcement now is the perfect time for Marvelous! to re-release the previous entries in Goichi Suda's acclaimed hack and slash series.
No More Heroes III will be available for the Nintendo Switch in 2020.
