Starting on June 17th, Redbox kiosks will begin offering Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3 games. The selection will range from "top releases to popular family and kids' titles." The games will cost $2 a day to rent. What games earn "top releases" status remains to be seen as no specific game titles have been announced.
The move follows a test of video game rentals in some U.S. cities. The test began in August 2009 and involved 5,000 kiosks. The company said it rented more than 1 million video games in less than two years during the test run.
