K/DA is back, and the skins have arrived right on cue. Riot Games has revealed a new K/DA Firestarter skin line for League of Legends, with five cosmetics for Ahri, Evelynn, Kai'Sa and Akali set to go live with Patch 26.22.

The reveal landed on Monday through the official League of Legends account, a day after the group's new music video went live. Ahri, Evelynn and Kai'Sa share the main Firestarter line:

Two Mythic Skins Headline The Set

The bigger news for collectors is the pair of Mythic skins. Akali is not getting a standard Firestarter skin in this drop. Instead, she gets a premium Mythic Variant, which the game files list as K/DA Firestarter Ignition Akali.

Evelynn gets two new looks in total. Alongside her Firestarter skin, Riot revealed K/DA Hitmaker Evelynn, which casts the singer as a music industry mogul. Riot teased the skin as "Unrivaled on stage and on the Rift."

The Hitmaker lore text found in the game files describes Evelynn leaving her mark on K/DA's latest album before setting her sights on "the lucrative world of business," with her hounds at her side to threaten the competition.

Rarities And Pricing

The skins are now in testing, and the Public Beta Environment lists Firestarter Ahri and Firestarter Kai'Sa at 1350 RP each, which is the standard Epic price. Firestarter Evelynn is listed at 1820 RP, the Legendary tier, which normally brings new animations and voice lines.

Both Ignition Akali and Hitmaker Evelynn are marked as Sanctum skins rather than store purchases. The Sanctum is League's gacha system, where each pull costs 400 RP and a Mythic prize is guaranteed within 40 pulls. That puts the worst case at 16,000 RP for each skin, or 32,000 RP for anyone who wants both. Since the two Mythics are expected to sit on separate banners, pulls toward one should not count toward the other, so it is worth checking the in-client Sanctum details when the patch goes live before spending anything.

The PBE files also include 22 chromas across the three store skins, with eight each for Ahri and Kai'Sa and six for Evelynn. Final details can still change before the skins reach live servers.

When The K/DA Firestarter Skins Release

The skins are tied to Patch 26.22, which is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4th on Riot's patch calendar. They were added to the PBE ahead of time, so players with PBE access can try them out now while Riot gathers feedback.

Akali fans may notice she already has something new this week. Patch 26.21, which went live today (October 21st), adds the True Damage Know My Name skin line, including True Damage Know My Name Akali, Qiyana, Senna and Yasuo and a Prestige version of Ekko. That patch also kicks off the ARAM: Mayhem Journey to Stardom event, which has players completing missions from bands like K/DA and Pentakill.

K/DA's Comeback

The skins are part of a full K/DA return, the group's first new project since the ALL OUT era in 2020. The official K/DA account announced the Firestarter music video premiere for 7 PM PT on Sunday (October 18th) with the post "You started the fire without us?" The video features MIYEON and SOYEON of i-dle, Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb.

The full Firestarter EP is scheduled to release today (October 21st) at 6 PM PT, and the K/DA account has also opened orders for CD and vinyl editions. Riot followed the video with an official choreography clip earlier this week.

Which K/DA Firestarter skin are you picking up, and are you willing to roll The Sanctum for Akali or Evelynn?
