PC gaming enthusiasts still have to wait a bit to enjoy the new range of Nvidia graphics cards, the RTX 2080 and 2080Ti, but Nvidia has already confirmed certain details.
The cards will have the capacity to run the most recent games at 4K and 60 frames per second even without using the DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technique.
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, explained that the RTX 2080 graphics card will be able to run the most current games at 4K and 60 frames per second and that the RTX 2080Ti will offer even better results.
The company also announced the RTX 2070, but it has not been indicated if it will be able to offer the same performance. Although it is a card located one step below the 2080 range, it benefits from the graphical innovations of the raytracing technology.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti will debut on September 20th and its starting price estimated by Nvidia is 1,259 euros. The RTX 2080 will be at 849 euros. The RTX 2070 will have a price of 639 euros.
The RTX 2080Ti, flagship of the graphics cards, will be based on the NVIDIA Turing architecture that has been developed over the last 10 years by the brand and that will allow us to enjoy technologies such as RTX.
The real-time ray tracing system developed by NVIDIA with which they presume that it is going to mark a before and after in the world of video games.
The graph will have 4,352 CUDA cores, with a clock frequency of 1,350 MHz to 1,635 MHz in overclocking mode. As for the memory, we will have 11 GB GDDR6 with a frequency of 14 Gbps, an interface width of 352 biut and a bandwidth of 616 GB/s.
The maximum resolution of the graph will be of 7680x4320 pixels and will have connections DisplayPort, HDMI and USB Type-C, renouncing the classic DVI connection that, as it was rumored, will disappear with this new generation.
The graphics will occupy 2 slots of our plate, with a height of 115.7mm and a length of 266.74 mm.
