DETROIT BECOME HUMAN Director David Cage Provides A Commentary on 2012's Kara Tech Demo

Quantic Dream's David Cage revisits the moving 2012 tech demo that introduced the world to Kara, a playable character in his forthcoming epic: DETROIT: BECOME HUMAN.

5 years ago, Quantic Dream wanted to show the gaming world what the PS3 was capable of. To achieve that objective, a short and impressive tech demon was shown. In this demo, the android called Kara was introduced. The demo was memorable in that it looked amazing and was a showcase for Cage's considerable storytelling talents. The heartbreaking mocap performance also allowed the audience to empathize with Kara as she faced being disassembled. Here it is below.

When the existence of Detroit: Become Human was revealed to the gaming public, it soon became apparent that the 2 stories existed in a single universe. As we wait for the release of the game next year, David Cage has chosen to revisit the demo while providing an informative commentary on the process of creating the project.

Check out the video below.

Detroit: Become Human will be exclusive to the Playstation 4. Here is the trailer from 2017's Paris Games Week.
