Detroit Become Human has officially gone gold. Quantic Dream tweeted out an image of the happy and exhausted team behind the upcoming action game today. That means development is done, and discs are ready to be made for retail ahead of its May 25, 2018 release date. Reportedly, it’s been a difficult and long development cycle, so this is clearly a big deal for the French studio and David Cage.
"
#DetroitBecomeHuman is officially GOLD! Huge thanks to the team of hard-working and talented creators who came together to bring it to life, it’s been an amazing journey. Now we can’t wait for you to get your hands on @Detroit_PS4 come May 25th!," the studio announced on Twitter. Quantic also revealed that a free demo of
Detroit will be available on PS Store starting from tomorrow.
The demo will give you a chance to check out a small section of the game, in which Connor, one of three playable androids, tries to persuade another android to put his gun down and free a girl he's holding hostage. Apparently, 15,215 gamers have played the demo around the world, so there's a chance that you will enjoy it too. But remember - everything that happens now is in your hands...
