Detroit Become Human is the next PlayStation 4 exclusive that will be released directly after SIE Santa Monica's juggernaut, also known as
God of War. The David Cage-directed game will also feature a more "cinematic" narration, similar to what we've seen in his
Heavy Rain and
Beyond: Two Souls. But this time, Cage will focus on the artificial intelligence instead of aliens and superpowers (well, hopefully).
IGN has released a brand new video dedicated to Quantic Dream's newest game (or experience, as the developers like to call it). The motion-capture technology is great as always, but it's hardly shocking considering that almost every big game uses it nowadays. But there's one welcomed feature the game will display as
Detroit: Become Human render in 4K on the PS4 Pro, although there's a catch.
Unfortunately, it's won't be a native 4K, but the checkerboard 4K instead, meaning that the game will render in 2160p checkerboard at 30fps on Sony’s enhanced PS4 console. Besides that small inconvenience, it looks like
Detroit will deliver, at least on the "nice vistas and faces" front. As always, there's a big chance David Cage will try to include aliens and paranormal activities into this game...
