Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be releasing for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in a month's time. We've already gotten a pretty extensive look at the upcoming first-person shooter's multiplayer mode — what with two beta weekends having taken place — so it's about time the campaign gets delved into.
During PlayStation's State of Play presentation, which recently took place,
a brand new trailer was released for
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which focuses on the game's story. Captain Price is the star of the trailer but new characters are also introduced — notably the leader of a band of rebel forces named Farrah.
That's two of the game's three modes revealed. On September 7th, we'll be getting our first look at
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Special Ops mode — so stay tuned for that.
Below you can check out both the trailer as well as a new synopsis which was released alongside it:
On October 25th, when the world is threatened, you’ll have to get your hands dirty so the world stays clean. In a desperate mission, Captain Price and the SAS will partner alongside the CIA and the Urzikstani Liberation Force to retrieve stolen chemical weapons. The heart-racing fight will take you from London to the Middle East and other global locations, as this joint task force battles to stop full-scale global war. Lines will be drawn, your resolve will be tested, and the world will look to you to do what needs to be done.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25th, 2019.
