Yesterday, PlayStation database tracker PlayStation Game Size shared that Sonic Frontiers was listed as having the release date of November 15th, 2022 — which perfectly lines up with the officially announed Holiday 2022 window.

Now, PlayStation Game Size claims to have discovered the release date for God of War Ragnarok within the database. We already knew that the sequel to 2018's Game of the Year-winner God of War, developed by Santa Monica Studio, would be coming in 2022.

It had been speculated that the release would be in the latter half of the year as Horizon Forbidden West is set to launch in February. Both being big PlayStation exclusives, you wouldn't expect them to step on each other's toes by releasing near each other.

This speculation lines up with the supposed release date discovered by PlayStation Game Size (via @PlayStationSize), that being September 30th, 2022. It's worth noting that even the database tracker cautions that this date may simply be a placeholder and not the final date, but it's still useful information to know whereabout it's expected to arrive at the moment.
