Developed by Chilean independent studio AOne Games and published by Soedesco, Omen of Sorrow is a fighting game coming out exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on the 6th of November.

From what we've seen from trailers and a bit of gameplay, Omen of Sorrow follows in the steps of other popular fighting video game franchises like Rare's Killer Instinct and NetherRealm Studios' Mortal Kombat. The developer has let players know that the game will be featuring a different gameplay style than the one found in the aforementioned games, with a four-button layout gameplay that draws inspiration from games like Tekken and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Omen of Sorrow is also featuring a roster of characters that come from horror, Myth, and Lore such as Count Dracula, Quasimodo, Caleb(a werewolf), and even Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde—although this game actually features a "Dr. Hyde" as the playable character.

Now that the Omen of Sorrow is so close to officially releasing worldwide, we get a new gameplay trailer that shows off some of the action-packed combat, teases a Single Player mode, and even GGPO Rollback Netcode feature that will definitely help avoid some of the lag experienced during the matches.

Take a look:

Clear your mind, clench your fists and get ready for a wicked battle. Omen of Sorrow® delivers a deep 2D battle system inspired by the classics, bringing back the edge, mindset and philosophy rooted in the genre's arcade legacy, taking it to the next level with innovative features and fighting mechanics.

Omen of Sorrow will be available for the PlayStation 4 on the 6th of November.
