Days Gone is an upcoming adventure survival horror game by Sony Interactive Entertainment's Bend Studio—the same studio that brought us
Syphon Filter and all of its sequels, as well as
Unchrted: Golden Abyss—that will be releasing exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on the
22nd of February in 2019.
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world, much like Naughty Dog's
The Last of Us, where players take control of Deacon St. Jones—a bounty hunter facing the struggle of survival as he searches for a reason to live.
Days Gone is about the survivors of this world infested with mindless zombie-like humans that are quickly evolving, what is it that makes these survivors humans, and about not giving up hope.
Days Gone had already been delayed as the game was supposed to come out this year, and hopefully the people over at Bend Studio manage to polish some details about its gameplay, especially after the
first impressions the game got a few weeks ago—which weren't necessarily bad, but were quite disappointing.
Set in the beautiful, volcanic scarred high-desert of the Pacific Northwest, Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game where you play as Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who would rather risk the dangers of the broken road than live in one of the “safe” wilderness encampments.
Days Gone will be available for the PlayStation 4 on the 22nd of February 2019.
