Sony Interactive Entertainment and Bend Studio's highly anticipated Days Gone is only a couple of weeks away from releasing, bringing a massive post-apocalyptic open-world to the PlayStation 4 on the 26th of April.

Development for Days Gone has actually taken 4 years, which is quite the decent amount of time for a video game to be made — especially when it comes to games being published by Sony; who always strive deliver top quality products like God of War and Marvel's Spider-Man, to name but a few.

In a recent interview with EPNdotTV, Samw Witwer — who plays Deacon St. John in Days Gone — has revealed some very interesting details about his experience working for Sony, claiming that for a good while he had no idea how big the scope of the game was, having some "Christian Bale moments" on the set, and doing the motion capture for Deacon.

Check it out:

Set in the beautiful, volcanic scarred high-desert of the Pacific Northwest, Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game where you play as Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who would rather risk the dangers of the broken road than live in one of the “safe” wilderness encampments.

Days Gone will be available for the PlayStation 4 on the 26th of April.
