Capcom's
Devil May Cry V was announced last June during Microsoft's E3 press conference and the wait it almost over, with the latest entry in the critically acclaimed slasher series releasing this Friday.
During last week's livestream, Game Director Hideaki Itsuno and Nero’s Japanese Voice Actor Kaito Ishikawa had a chance to chat about the upcoming title, its bizarre world, and even core gameplay mechanics. Thanks to the all-new footage that debuted during their conversation, we have our best look yet at Nero's new costume that will be available as the Alternate Color Costumes pre-order bonus.
According to
Devil May Cry V Senior Producer Michiteru Okabe, "
gathering the best materials for making a character’s look, voice and actions probably takes more time than an actual live-action film," Okabe
explained in a recent interview with Capcom.
"Take actions, for example: For gestures unique to Japanese people, we need to get a Japanese actor to play the part," so you can be pretty sure that every in-game character was created with a lot of thought and amazing attention to detail.
If the white suit is not what you would like to see on the screen, towards the end of the said video (that you can watch down below), Ishikawa is tasked with playing the default Nero in the extended demo.
A new demonic invasion has begun with the seeds of a demon tree being sown in Red Grave City. Now fully equipped with his trusty Red Queen and Blue Rose, and a new arsenal of rad robot hands thanks to his partner Nico, Nero must rise up to this new impossible task. With such insane amount of energy and destruction emanating from this surprise invasion, the stage is now set for the latest chapter of the “Sons of Sparda” saga.
Devil May Cry V is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC March 8, 2019.
