Devil May Cry 5 was one of the most eye-catching things at Microsoft’s media briefing at E3 2018, which was filled with eye-catching things. Before Capcom's big reveal, the slasher had leaked several times and it looks like most of the unconfirmed information turned out to be true, as our main heroes Dante and Nero (who debuted in DMC4) will return to run their demon-hunting business Devil May Cry.
During this year's New York Comic Con, Capcom hosted a special presentation that was focused entirely on the upcoming demon slasher. Fans of the series should be more than happy to hear that the publisher confirmed the return of classic weapons such as the Cavaliere bike, the Balrog, Dante's devil arm, the Cerberus (returning from Devil May Cry 3) and its three modes, and the bizzare Faust hat.
The new gameplay videos are focused on the debuting and well-known heroes and their mind-blowing combat skills. Considering that the main villain of the game will be the strongest Nero and Dante have ever faced (that's actually saying something) and that some dangerous events are occurring in the corrupted Demon World, the action will be probably "pretty" intense and bloody. Take a look:
A new demonic invasion has begun with the seeds of a demon tree being sown in Red Grave City. Now fully equipped with his trusty Red Queen and Blue Rose, and a new arsenal of rad robot hands thanks to his partner Nico, Nero must rise up to this new impossible task. With such insane amount of energy and destruction emanating from this surprise invasion, the stage is now set for the latest chapter of the “Sons of Sparda” saga.
Devil May Cry 5 is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC March 8, 2019.
