Quite shockingly, Devil May Cry 5 was officially announced during Microsoft's E3 2018 showcase. Before Capcom's reveal, the slasher had leaked several times and it looks like most of the unconfirmed information turned out to be true, as Dante and Nero return to run the demon-hunting business Devil May Cry. According to the rumors, Vergil, Dante's villainous brother will be the third playable character.

Nero, who debuted in Devil May Cry 4 has lost his Devil Bringer demon arm and to make up for that loss, and keep his style rankings up, he’s enlisted the help of expert craftswoman and his new friend Nico, a brand new character in the series, to lend a hand and build different types of prosthetic arms that unlock new badass combat abilities and devastating powers, including powerful electro waving.

The game uses the power of Capcom's own RE Engine, which was initially built for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and you can check out its true power down below in a bunch of brand new 4K screenshots. According to the publisher, Devil May Cry 5 will manage to display 60 frames-per-second experience with as the game will be also showcased at the upcoming Gamescom 2018. Check it out:
