Final Fantasy VII Remake is a bit over 3 weeks away from finally becoming available, and the game really promises to deliver an experience like none other; bringing the elements that made the original Final Fantasy VII a classic, but also adding new things that have update its gameplay mechanics and graphics.
While it is true that the remake is bringing a lot of elements from the original game, fans were somewhat disappointed to know that Final Fantasy VII Remake was only the first part of a series of games(still hasn't been specified exactly how many games), and that it will only be taking place in Midgard.
As it turns out, Final Fantasy VII Remake will, in fact, be taking place in Midgard for the majority of it, but this is not the same Midgard that fans remember from the original game, as the developers have made sure to expand on this area and give fans a lot of new content that makes this new title a proper, and fully realised game.
Square Enix has recently released the first episode in the Inside Final Fantasy VII Remake, where the developers reveal details like the one mentioned above, as well as other information about the highly anticipated title — so be sure to check it out down below and let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
Give it a watch:
In Midgar, a city controlled by the mega-conglomerate Shinra Inc., the No. 1 Mako Reactor has been blown up by a rebel group, AVALANCHE. AVALANCHE was secretly formed to wage a rebellion against Shinra Inc., an organisation which is absorbing Mako energy, destroying the natural resources of the planet. Cloud, a former member of Shinra's elite combat force, SOLDIER, was involved with the bombing of the Mako Reactor. Can Cloud and AVALANCHE protect the planet from the huge, formidable enemy, Shinra Inc.?
Final Fantasy VII Remake will become available for the PlayStation 4 on the 10th of April.
