If you're a Dead By Daylight fan get excited for the next upcoming update as classic horror movie character GhostFace from Scream franchise is coming to the game. This was revealed via leaks based on a developer build of the game inadvertently pushed out during this week’s Mid-Chapter Update.
The game will also contain horror favorites Halloween's Michael Myers, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Krueger, and Amanda Young from the Saw franchise.
Also Behaviour tweeted an acknowledgement once word started getting around that Ghostface was coming to the game;
“Some lucky players got a glimpse of our upcoming chapter release content in today’s mid-chapter update,” they tweeted from the official Dead by Daylight account. That update has been corrected, but “in the meantime, enjoy the early hype on the next chapter.”
The game official Synopsis is as follow's;
Death Is Not an Escape. Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and killed. Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey. The Survivors' goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer - something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.
Dead by Daylight is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The next game update will arrive in June.
