In August of last year, independent developer Infuse Studio announced Spirit of the North — a single-player third-person action game for the PlayStation 4 — which was expected to release at some point in 2018.

Although Spirit of the North is releasing for the PlayStation 4, the game is actually a timed exclusive; the developer, however, has not revealed for what other platforms the game will also be releasing — especially after Spirit of the North was pushed back and didn't meet its 2018 release date.

Today, Infuse Studio has revealed that Spirit of the North will finally be releasing for the PlayStation 4 on the 1st of November. We also got a breathtaking gameplay trailer that gives us a look at the beautiful landscapes of Iceland; where this story based on Nordic folklore will take place.

Check it out:

Play as an ordinary red fox who’s story becomes entwined with the guardian of the Northern Lights, a female spirit fox. As you journey over the mountains and under red stained skies you’ll discover more about your companion and a land left in ruin.

Spirit of the North is will release for the PlayStation 4, as a timed exclusive, on the 1st of November.
