For some, Ghost of Tsushima has been on their radar pretty much since Sucker Punch announced it during the Paris Games Week all the way back in 2017. Were hooked after the recent Ghost of Tsushima-centred presentation released last month — which gave players the most in-depth look at the game yet.
No matter when was it that players found out about Ghost of Tsushima, all seem to agree that Sucker Punch's next title will be quite an open world experience — not to mention the developer's most ambitious project ever made; something that the developers themselves have also confirmed.
Ghost of Tsushima is still a few weeks away from releasing — finally becoming available, as a PlayStation 4 exclusive title, on Friday the 17th of July — but Sucker Punch has managed to keep players excited by releasing new information about it, as well as sharing some breathtakingly beautiful in-game screenshots.
Today, Sucker Punch has done something different, as they have shared a small batch of concept art for Ghost of Tsushima, which make us wish the game was already here. As per usual, we recommend that you open these in a new tab to fully enjoy just how beautiful these are.
Have a look:
In 1274, the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the Japanese island of Tsushima and slaughters its legendary samurai defenders. Jin Sakai is one of the last survivors of a noble samurai clan. To combat his overwhelming foes, he must pioneer deadly new fighting techniques--the way of The Ghost--and wage an unconventional war for the people of Japan.
Ghost of Tsushima is expected to release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on the 17th of July.
