The One Piece collab includes four Bandai cards: three DON!! promos painted as the Gomu Gomu, Mera Mera, and Ope Ope shoes, plus Character Card P-099 Monkey D. Luffy in alt art of Luffy wearing the pair. The Luffy effect matches the existing P-099. New picture, same text box.
You cannot add all four to a cart on Nike.com. Distribution is split by city, product type, and a magazine lottery. The store shoe drops give you cards that match the shoe you buy. Here is the details about the shoes followed by more card info for fans. Here is a quick look at the cards:
As stated above, One Piece is collabing with Nike on the Air Max Plus line. Nike built three pairs around Devil Fruits, then staggered them so you cannot cop the full set on one morning. Mera Mera hits select retailers September 12. Ope Ope follows September 19 in the US and Europe. Gomu Gomu is the SNKRS pair on September 25. Apparel rides with the last date. It will be a whole month of shoe collecting for fans and collectors alike.
Here is another look at the 3 different pairs of shoes coming this month:
- Mera Mera (IW1283-800): Brilliant Orange / Kumquat / Vibrant Yellow / Healing Jade. Fire-fruit oranges and yellows, teal on laces, tongue, lining, and Swoosh. Ace and Sabo’s flame. Asia and Mexico shops on September 12 (Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Mexico City). Australia waits until October 16–18.
- Ope Ope (IW1282-600): Very Berry / Green Quartz / Sport Red. Pink and burgundy room, green hits, swirl detail for Trafalgar Law’s operating theater. Select US and Europe retailers September 19, including shops like Politics in Dallas, Offspring in London, Patta in Amsterdam, and SNS in Stockholm.
- Gomu Gomu (IR0968-500): Space Purple / Purple Venom / Altitude Green / Atomic Green. Luffy’s rubber fruit in purple with acid green Swoosh and laces. Widest drop. US, Japan, and some of Europe get a SNKRS pre-order September 25. China, Mexico, and Australia get a standard SNKRS launch that day. South Korea is Exclusive Access.
The price for the sneaker pairs varies. Several guides have $180. Sneaker Bar Detroit has $210. Check the SNKRS ticket before you buy if you care about price. Nike’s own newsroom framed the pack as three exclusive uppers plus archive-style jerseys, caps, a Jolly Roger tee based on Luffy’s promise mark, manga-panel shirts that look like old Nike print ads, and a vest nodding to Devil Fruit users. The price also might rise depending on the cards that come with it, or the cards might be sold seperate when going second hand for collectors and extra money.
A Tokyo pop-up was on the September 4–6 calendar. Later sneaker coverage said Nike pulled a Japan-only Gomu Gomu popup and folded that pair into the September 25 pre-order everywhere, including Japan. Regional shops still matter for Mera Mera and Ope Ope. Hong Kong HBX and Nike Lab PS7, Jakarta Invincible, Mexico City Lust, Seoul Worksout and Tune, Shanghai Nike Lab, Taipei Phantaci, and Nike Umeda are on the September 12 list.
If you miss out on the shoe drops fear not, there is a few other ways to get them. Weekly Shonen Jump’s digital magazine will take applications from September 18 to October 18 for a 34-card Premium Card Collection: 10 Gomu Gomu, 10 Mera Mera, 10 Ope Ope, and 4 Luffy. One application, one set per person. You need the Jump subscription plus a separate fee. Fine print drops September 18. That is the only public way to get all three DON!! designs in one box without flying.
Bandai said English versions would go out at One Piece Card Game events. September’s obvious stop is Bandai Card Games Fest Dallas (September 19–20). Organizers have not published a guaranteed giveaway list for those halls. Check the official events calendar before you treat a plane ticket as a pull. Until a judge table hands you a wrapped English DON!!, assume Japanese retail is the real supply.
