The World Cyber Games has announced an epic lineup of Xbox 360® and PC titles to be played in the 2008 tournaments. "It is with great honor that the WCG announces the most powerful, broad-reaching and distinguished lineup of tournament games in the history of eSports," said Hyoung-Seok Kim, president and CEO, International Cyber Marketing, organizers of the WCG.
Halo 3 makes its debut in the WCG.
The WCG 2008 Official Titles were introduced on SPIKE TV's signature video game program, GameTrailers TV with Geoff Keighley. The 2008 tournament will sport the largest field ever with gamers in more than 74 countries worldwide playing for cash, prizes, and the chance to represent their respective country at the WCG 2008 Grand Final this November in Cologne, Germany. Registration for the 2008 WCG USA Championship Tournament is now open. US citizens are invited to visit the site http://www.worldcybergames.com/usa to register for this year's tournament (or use the signup button at the left) and to obtain more information about the WCG USA Championship tournament and TEAM USA. International players should consult their home country's respective WCG website, all of which can be reached via the main WCG site.
Guitar Hero III also debuts in the WCG in 2008.
