A Possible First Look At SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Has Leaked Online And, Yes, He Has Two Eyes

The teaser poster for Sonic the Hedgehog was met with a considerable amount of backlash and this is unlikely to change the minds of disgruntled fans! The question is, have they pulled off the two eyes?

Earlier this week, we got our first official look at the new live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie and the response has been pretty mixed so far. While the iconic video game character was shown as just a silhouette, that caused the imagination of fans to run wild and people couldn't help but point out that he looked like a small, muscular child.

Throw in the fact that it was later revealed that he'll have two eyes and fans weren't happy!

Whether or not this leaked image will help matters is hard to say. It's doing the rounds on social media today and reportedly comes from an earlier point in production (hence why Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is pictured instead of current star James Marsden).

As you can see, Sonic has two eyes and, well, it's not that bad, is it? He looks a little less toned and slightly furrier too so chances are this isn't the final design. What will be interesting is seeing whether or not the first proper teaser poster uses this image but ends up Photoshopping Marsden's face on instead! Either way, this doesn't look half as good as Detective Pikachu right now...
