Grand Theft Auto V released all the way back in September 2013 but somehow still manages to be one of the best-selling games of each month — as you can see here. It's clear that there's still great interest in Rockstar Games' open-world action-adventure game. Though, the studio have apparently only just begun work on the next-instalment — find out more on that here.

Well, it seems that Grand Theft Auto V will soon be available on PC for free via the Epic Games Store. That's at least what's reported by Game Pressure and backed up by Niko Partners senior analyst, and all-round reputable insider, Daniel Ahmad.

What's more, it isn't only Grand Theft Auto V that will reportedly be available for free but also “a lot of additional content." Though Grand Theft Auto V itself will only be available for free on the Epic Games Store for about a week's time, should you have downloaded a copy, you will be able to keep it for as long as you like.

Epic Games Store has been offering a free game per week since December 2018 and the remainder of this year will be no different. We will be sure to keep you updated and notify you should the storefront themselves announce that Grand Theft Auto V is available for free for a limited time. So, be sure to stay tuned to Gamefragger.
