While we are still a few months away from the release of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated, developer THQ Nordic has been releasing a handful of gameplay videos to get both fans of the original title and newcomers excited for the launch.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated is a remake of the game that released for home consoles all the way back in 2003, and as such it is brnging back every single one of the elements that made the original a fan-favourite for SpongeBob SquarePants aficionados.
Yesterday THQ Nordic release a gameplay trailer that highlighted some of the original game's most epic battles, and also allowed us to see just how much better these look with the game's current-gen graphics; needless to say, the remake looks phenomenal.
Today, the developer has released a new gameplay trailer that welcomes players to Goo Lagoon, and shows off some of the classic platforming sections that are making a comeback in SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated.

SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated is expected to release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC(Steam) on the 23rd of June.
