A highlight of the NBA games is more often than not "MyCareer", and for this year's edition, it will have some serious star power in the form of Creed's Michael B. Jordan. The actor will play Justice Young, an upcoming NBA star who befriends the character created by you in NBA 2K17, and while details are currently scarce, it's thought that he'll play a role in many of the choices you'll be able to make.
That's something of a departure from last year's "MyCareer" as that had a fairly rigid storyline which was helmed by Spike Lee. As good as that may have been, many players missed the ability to make their own choices and shape the path of their created character through those. Throwing an A-List actor into the mix is an interesting idea and should help make the mode feel more like a movie.
With Indiana Pacers all-star Paul George on the Standard Edition cover and Kobe Bryant on the Legend Edition, NBA 2K17 is currently set to be released on September 20th. Here are some new images:
