Dead or Alive 6 is Koei Tecmo's sixth entry in their acclaimed Dead or Alive main series of fighting games. The game was announced this June and will be coming out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
Today we get an official release date for the game, as well as a brand new trailer, and
Dead or Alive 6 will be available on the
15th of February in 2019.
Dead or Alive 6 is introducing a new break gauge system that allows players to pull off the Break Smash and Break Hold techniques—allowing the fighter to deal a powerful smash to the opponent while parrying, or pull off an ultra hold that returns upper, middle, and lower attacks, respectively.
The game will feature a roster of 10 confirmed fighters, and more to come. The fighters that Koei Tecmo has already announced are Kasumi, Helena, Jann Lee, Hayate, Hayabusa, Rig, Zach, Hitomi, and Leifang—with Diego being the only newcomer to the series. The trailer released today revealed that Honoka, Ayane and Rose Marie will be coming back to join the fight in
Dead or Alive 6.
Take a look:
After a sinister incident in a village...Kasumi, a successor of the legendary Mugen Tenshin ninja clan, abandoned her clan and became a "runaway ninja," secretly living in a hermitage in a mountain village.
Dead or Alive 6 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on the 15th of February.
