The
Monster Hunter movie has been
on borrowed time in development since 2012, when it was rumoured that Paul W.S. Anderson—director of the awful
Resident Evil movies—would be helming the film based on Capcom's popular
Monster Hunter series.
As year's went by, Paul W.S. Anderson was finally announced to be producing the Monster Hunter movie, and earlier this year we found out that
Resident Evil actress Milla Jovovich would be joining the cast. Earlier this month, we also got confirmation that Paul W.S. Anderson would not only be producing the movie, but
he will also be directing the Monster Hunter movie adaptation because, why not?
Today, we got our first look at Diego Boneta's Sergeant Marshall, an original character in Paul W.S. Anderson's
Monster Hunter movie, as the actor shared the post on his Instagram page. Needless to say, this looks exactly what everyone should've been expecting from a Paul W.S. Anderson movie adaptation, as it looks exactly nothing like a character from Capcom's beloved
Monster Hunter series.
Below you can check out the first
Monster Hunter demo footage from Paul W.S. Anderson's movie, that will give you a rough idea of what the movie will look like when it releases. As of yet,
Monster Hunter doesn't have an official release date.
