When Bandai Namco released the first trailer for Season 3 of Dragon Ball FighterZ, they also revealed that some new features would be added to the critically acclaimed fighting title — completely free of charge, mind you — via a free update that would go live on the same day Season 3 kicks off.

As it turns out, Season 3 will begin with the release of Kefla — Kaule and Caulifla's Potara fusion from Dragon Ball Super — on Friday the 28th of February, which is actually in a few more days from today.

One of the new additions that this free update will be including is the ability to select different attacks for the Assist characters, which is quite literally a game changer — especially since this will also allow players to select characters they like, and give them assist attacks that can be even more useful during the fight.

Limit Breaking Power is another one of those game-changing additions to Dragon Ball FighterZ, which will help players, who are down to one fighter, by making their attacks even more powerful.

Now, Bandai Namco has also revealed that all of the paid DLC characters will become available for a limited time — with Broly, Cooler, Janemba as the first three characters to get a free trial that begins on the 28th of February and end on the 1st of March.
