According to Treyarch design director David Vonderhaar; it's "very feasible" that, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's new battle-royale gamemode, "Blackout" will support split-screen - meaning that two players will be able to take part in the, supposedly 80-player, last-man-standing games from the same console.

While split-screen has been an option throughout the long-running Call of Duty series, Blackout is entirely new. Given the new mode's similarity to games like Fortnite and Player Unknown's Battlegrounds, many people assumed that it wouldn't support the feature.

However, in a recent interview with Game Informer, when asked whether Blackout will support split-screen, Vonderhaar revealed that they're “Testing it now,” and that it's "very feasible" that the feature will be included. When pressed for more on its likelihood, Vonderhaar simply emphasized his uncertainty - essentially telling gamers to not get their hopes up just yet.

What do you think? Would you like for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's new "Blackout" mode to support split-screen?
